6. Tent & Homestay Rules
Tents will be assigned on Day 1 after arrival. Guests are requested to take proper care of their assigned tent and keep the surrounding campsite area clean.
The tent or homestay will be cleaned only once on the arrival day. Daily housekeeping may not be available during the festival period.
Guests must keep their tents, rooms and common areas clean by themselves throughout the stay.
7. Water Arrangement
No packaged water bottles will be provided inside the tent or homestay. For campsite guests, there will be a water refill area at the camp. Guests can refill their own bottles from the designated refill point.
For homestay guests, bottled water will not be provided. Guests are requested to purchase their own drinking water if required. Carrying a personal reusable water bottle is highly recommended.
8. Washroom & Toilet Facilities
Ziro Festival is held in a village and outdoor festival environment. Guests are requested not to expect hotel-style washroom facilities.
Most homestays may have Indian-style toilets. Some homestays may have common washrooms or washrooms located outside the room. All tents will have access to common washrooms only.
The common washrooms will be cleaned regularly and timely by the campsite team. Guests are requested to maintain cleanliness after using the washroom.
9. Toiletries & Personal Essentials
Guests must carry their own toiletries, towel, soap, shampoo, tissue paper, wet wipes and other personal hygiene items.
During the festive season, towels and toiletries are generally not provided in tents or homestays.
10. Basic Village Stay Experience
Please do not expect luxury or premium facilities during the Ziro Festival stay.
Ziro is a remote village destination, and accommodation during the festival is basic, simple and experiential. The stay is designed for travellers who wish to enjoy music, culture, community, nature and the festival atmosphere.
11. Air Conditioning & Vehicle Comfort
There will be no air conditioning in the shared vehicles, tents or homestay rooms.
Guests are requested to be prepared for basic travel and stay arrangements suitable for a village festival destination.

In case any tent is torn, damaged or mishandled by a traveller, the repair or replacement amount will be recovered from the concerned traveller.
The same rule applies to homestay property. If any item, room facility or homestay property is damaged by a traveller and a complaint is received from the host, the applicable damage amount will be recovered from the concerned traveller.
This is only to ensure responsibility, fairness and smooth coordination with the local hosts and campsite owners.
14. Pending Payment Clearance
